Our founder, Megan Calamaro, is passionate about helping small business owners build thriving, profitable businesses from the ground up. Megan Calamaro, CPA

Megan is the founder of Caalm Accounting Solutions and a Certified Public Accountant with more than 15 years of experience supporting business owners with their accounting and tax needs. She has led Audit & Assurance teams providing audited, reviewed, and compiled financial statements across a wide range of industries, including professional services, SaaS, manufacturing, distribution, construction, and employee benefit plans.

Megan works closely with business owners and individuals to ensure their accounting and tax compliance needs are met with clarity, accuracy, and care. Her approach is rooted in understanding each client’s business and goals, allowing her to deliver thoughtful, tailored solutions. Above all, her goal is to provide the peace of mind business owners need so they can focus on enjoying the life they’ve worked hard to build.

After spending twelve years in the Northeast, Megan returned to her roots in Southwest Florida, where she lives with her three boys. As both a business owner and a parent, she understands the importance of balance, supporting today’s needs while thoughtfully planning for the future.

Megan earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida Gulf Coast University.

maura bennington

Maura joined Caalm Accounting Solutions in 2023 as Office Manager, bringing more than 26 years of experience in education and administrative leadership. She applies her deep organizational expertise and attention to detail to support both clients and the firm, while also contributing a thoughtful, strategic perspective to the firm’s operations and long-term growth.

A Southwest Florida native, Maura enjoys spending time on the water with her husband, fishing and boating whenever possible. She also values staying closely connected with her three grown children and six grandchildren. For Maura, life is best enjoyed in the company of family and friends.
